Trustee Board update
The Trustee Board oversees the running of the UKRF, including governance, investment and administration, and includes three Member Nominated Directors (MNDs).
Following Deborah Rees’ death in January 2026, we carried out a Member Nominated Selection Exercise to appoint a new Trustee Director.
We received more than 40 applications, with a very high standard of candidates throughout. We would like to thank everyone who expressed an interest in supporting the work of the Trustee Board.
Following a thorough review process, the Selection Panel recommended David Farrow for appointment, which the Trustee Board has approved with effect from 17 June 2026.
David brings more than 35 years’ experience in financial services and has held a number of non-executive roles, alongside leading audit and risk work within the charity sector.
His appointment further strengthens the Board as it continues to oversee the UKRF, ensuring strong governance and that members’ interests remain central to decision-making.
Please join us in welcoming David to the Board. You can read more in the UKRF Trustee Board section.
