Introducing a more secure way to log in to ePA – Two Factor Authentication

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a second layer of security to protect access to your ePA account, which you’ll probably be used to from other websites you use such as online banking and shopping. 2FA increases the safety of your online account by requiring two types of information from you to log in: a password and a PIN sent to your mobile phone or email account.

The first time you log in to ePA after 2FA is introduced, you’ll be prompted to either validate your existing contact details, or to enter and validate new contact details. In future, you’ll need to enter a 2FA PIN (sent to your mobile phone or email) into ePA, as well as your password, before you can access your online account. We expect most members will be familiar with 2FA from other websites, but please get in touch if you’re having any problems.
