Statement of Investment Principles

The Trustee's investment policy is set out formally in the SIP and includes policies on financially material considerations, non-financial matters and stewardship in relation to the Scheme's arrangements with its asset managers.

Trustee Engagement Policy

The new Trustee Implementation Statement details how the Trustee has implemented its engagement policy. It covers voting behaviour by, or on behalf of, Trustees (as well as any significant votes cast) and any use of the services of a proxy voter. It is produced as part of the Trustee's annual Report and Accounts.

Trustee Annual Report

The Trustee's annual report includes a commentary of the main issues affecting the Scheme, membership information, financial information and a commentary on the performance of the Scheme's investments. As a defined benefit scheme, Trustees also include the Actuary's statement on the funding position of the Scheme.

Summary Funding Statement

Each year, the administrator issues a Summary Funding Statement to update members on the financial situation of the Scheme. It tells you if there are enough assets to cover future payouts (this is called the funding position). It also explains why the funding position might have changed.
