NEXT STEPS
Once you’ve read the information on this website and in your Retirement Quotation it’s time to decide what to do.
You don’t have to do anything yet if you don’t want to, your benefits will remain in the Scheme until you’re ready to take them.
But if you do want to take up one of the options and you’ve taken appropriate financial advice (if required), which you can read more about here, then you can kick-off the process of taking your benefits as outlined below.
Made a decision?
Taking your Scheme Pension
If you’re ready to take your Scheme Pension, then please complete the relevant form(s) included with your Retirement Quotation. If you haven’t yet requested a Retirement Quotation, then please contact the Scheme administrator, by calling 01737 230 498. Once you’ve completed and returned the forms, the administrator will check that they have everything they need in order to start paying your pension.
Transferring out of the Scheme Pension
If you want to transfer out of the Scheme Pension, please complete the relevant form(s) included with your Retirement Quotation. If you haven’t yet requested a Retirement Quotation, then please contact the Scheme administrator, by calling 01737 230 498. Please be aware that if your transfer value (excluding DC benefits / AVCs) is over £30,000 you will need to take financial advice before you can access the transfer options.
Not ready yet?
No worries, you don’t have to do anything if you do not want to. These currently available options should be available in the future for when you are ready to consider taking your retirement benefits.
